As I'm sure you've already figured out by now, I'm a far from conventional guy, and a very unusual life coach and motivator.

There is a crying need for positive, motivating role models in our inner cities - - and the pressure on youngsters today, both boys and girls, to join a gang, and drop out of school is relentless. Sometimes these kids can't see any other way out than to be pushed along in the flow - - as an ex-gang chief myself I'm uniquely qualified to 'get it.'

I've been there. I've earned my stripes, I speak the language and I wrote my memoirs "Tattoos on my Soul: From the Ghetto to the Top of the World" - - the story of my street life, struggles and victories - - in order to demonstrate that no - one need be confined by their birthright.

I want to show our youngsters that anything is possible; that they mustn't allow their environment to define them because if they do, they are creating their own jails, from the inside - out.
