Burrel Lee Wilks III has something valuable other life coaches don't: an entertaining, engaging, and best of all - proven - method of motivation.

Burrel was born on Chicago's rough west side, the namesake son of a drug kingpin. Like many boys, he idolized his father, and predictably joined in the family business as soon as he learned to count.

Here's where the story takes an unusual turn.

By age 11, the extraordinarily gifted young leader had become one of Chicago's most powerful gang chiefs, commanding hundreds of gang members in a number of profitable, some even legal, enterprises. Burrel even attracted the attention of Chicago's mafia families, who initiated negotiations with the pre-teen over his encroachment into their territory!

Thankfully, an unusual mentor entered Burrel's life not long after, and at age 16, he did something amazing: he left gangs, drugs and crime behind and became a legitimate businessman and successful life coach.

Burrel's unique perspective has allowed him to successfully mentor some of the NBA's most exciting and visible players, as well as high-profile entertainers and business leaders.
